I spent my last weekends at the chalet; Louis’s 21st birthday party. As usual, the party was loaded with noise, smoke from the BBQ-ing food and liquors. The birthday boy got drunk at the end of the party, 21 seconds to clear a bottle of champagne with additional of other alcoholic drinks. 1 person down still okay, but more and more people getting drunk there; especially she who kept drinking while we were playing games, from vodka to red wine then to martell, got her some warm water with a tinge of lime hoping she could feel better from it. The funny part is… the birthday boy didn’t stay throughout the night, he went back home because he was feeling real bad that time. And I’m so proud of myself :], I held back and didn’t drink that much, but I had slight headache that night. So I guess the night was wasted with drunkies lying around. I left the chalet the next afternoon, because I have my first intermediate Japanese class in the evening, hohoho see how fast I progress, I’m at intermediate level! Didn’t manage to catch some nap before going to the class. And somehow I fell sick on Monday, skipped my first night shift, felt so bad about it :( I was hoping to work for one night shift this week but I guess it’s quite hard to arrange, not enough staffs for day shift. It’s okay! I will have it soon next week! :) My throat isn’t feeling so good now, please recover soon!

I hope I can have more time for own stuffs including blogging. 3/4 of my life is filled with working and the last quarter meant for resting. I started to sleep early because my sleeping debt is getting heavier. But I still manage to fork out time during my weekends to meet friends, watch movies and dine out. :)

Work wise, so far so good, I still made mistakes here and there but will try not to do it again. Staying alert and observant are two important factors to make your work error-free. Have to stop being a sotong! :< Oh ya we are going to hand our time sheet to ricky soon, means my pay day is coming soooonn…. so looking forward! I need retail therapy!

Okay here comes the dry good news, I got accepted to NTU Biological Science and NUS science chemistry. Making decision is hard. Different people give you different opinions. Overseas universities are also attractive with the exemptions offered and working permanent in BB meanwhile studying part time sounds good too. I’m confused, I don’t know what exactly I want, though I have more or less decided to accept NTU. Oh no, hopefully I will have a firm decision by the end of May.

I’m going for chalet this weekends, hohoho no need to work on Sunday and night shift on Monday, my first night shift, wish me good luck! I shall update my blog after the chalet, stay tune!

Every morning I feel like I’m a walking corpse on the way to work but I got energetic when I start work. I’m growing to like this job, time passes quite fast because it’s quite busy. Colleagues there are friendly, fun to get along with :) Finally, got home straight after work today, a chance to rest more. I went to meet my E2 friends for steamboat on Monday at turf city; don’t really enjoy the food there, only the crab is nice. Can we meet elsewhere next time? haha Then my Tuesday night was spent with Sylvia, Dayna and her 3 more friends, we had dinner at pizza hut; the service still quite disappointing… Mum’s not happy because I kept eating outside, like so long didn’t eat her dishes. So guilty. I will make up for her birthday which fall on the next Thursday! :D

I just finished reading “Remember Me” by Sophie Kinesella, one of the books I bought from the borders three weeks ago. Chose this mainly because of the cover design caught my eye, a sunflower picture for your info :) It has been soooo long ever since I picked up a book to read. And well Remember me is a good start off for me. I like slice of life story; Spotted a few common points in old Lexi and me. Now I find reading is enjoyable and shall move on to my next book tomorrow if I don’t get home late.

By the way, how did you spend your long weekends? For me, I went to meet the usual clique on Friday at Jasmine’s house. She cooked spaghetti for us, unexpectedly not bad maybe got Hairul’s help, haha. Our initial plan was to cycle for 1-2 hours then prawning till midnight. But it seems to change every time when we plan something on. :x Instead we went to rent bicycle on an overnight charge basis and cycled from east coast to change village. I guess I wasn’t thinking at all and agreed with this! At first my bicycle was adjusted to 7 [should I call it gear 7?], okay anyway it means I have to use more strength to cycle, higher resistance. Then I finally changed it to 5 when I realised this and already covered almost half of the journey. Someone said they should buy me Dummies for cycling for my birthday, argh! The cycling went smoother with lower resistance and the guys said they couldn’t catch up my speed, HAHA! And finally we managed to reach Changi Village at about 9+ at night, Dayna told me this will be her first and last exercising trip of the year and it already hit her cycling quota for this year and 2011, funny! Our butts were seriously aching, feel like bruises. Not only the girls are complaining, the guys said they might not have father day in future. After our late dinner at Changi, I really felt like taking bus 2 back home, and call for a courier to send the bike back to the sawatikup bike rental place. Too bad, it won’t come true :( We still have to bear with our “buttache” and cycle back to ECP. On the way back, we did have funny things happened, but I shall not elaborate cos I’m involved :( Then don’t know why the song tik tok by Ke$ha kept repeating in me; okay I never like her voice but this song seems to revolve around my head haha. Surprisingly, my body don’t feel ache on the next day!

When in Rome is nice! I went to watch with Tricia and Peizi. After the movie, we shopped at somerset 313 and Tricia went home to catch her 7pm show, haha. Both of us walked over to takashimaya area and started to discuss on a topic which is filed as “HIGHLY TOP SECRET”, shhhh... Hopefully, we can be the female version of I make it feat birdman. Lil Wayne and Jay Sean, hohoho! Today is my first time working on a Sunday, NUH is so empty during the weekends, not quite used to it. So far so good for my job, just that my face gets so oily during the mid-day, have to seek for solution! Tomorrow will be meeting the E2 friends for steamboat, must control my intake :[

It’s my 4th day of working in blood bank, everything is getting better. Hope it gets even better next week. :D

I passed my Japanese test, though it’s not that good, but I’m satisfied with my result just like my last semester result. After our test, we went to have late dinner, really enjoy the company. Hopefully I can join the same class as them for intermediate level.

I couldn’t sleep last night, most probably my biological clock was messed up during the 3 weeks break. Quite awake at 5:30 am in the morning, so I managed to reach NUH half an hour earlier than the expected time. Yinling and I went to HR office to collect our temporary staff pass, it’s just a normal card with no access to anywhere when you tap. :( Ricky got us 3 labcoats each, Susan started to brief us about blood bank. I was attached to the reception area in the meantime while Yinling learnt to issue the blood products. Specimen processing involved with multiple systems used for in and out patients, I still need to time to digest the different type of workflow. As a result of sleeping too less, I almost fell asleep when reading protocol. Oh man, it’s just like attachment period minus the fun. Went back home with tricia, study my Japanese. Now feel so tired, going to sleep soon. 11th is our pay day, apparently we will be getting our first pay on 11th May, super long. Haha I still need my dad’s money to survive. I’m so looking forward to my weekends! FUN night out with friends!

Sorry this shall be a short post.

Korean steamboat with Dayna and Ivy at Doongji last evening. [Tricia let’s go there one day!] It's highly recommended especially the crab and rice cakes :) and I bought books to read for the first time. Haha I realised that I don't keep any bookmark at home.

I'm going to work tomorrow! Goodbye my 3 weeks of break :( I had been eating, sleeping and going out, totally enjoying but its gonna end soon. I shall look forward to my job, hope I enjoy working there with Yinling.
Friends! Still can ask me out for dinner or anything during evening and weekends, I don't want a boring working life.

Ice cream on the way…

Tada! Our homemade strawberry ice cream by me and my brother. We started to make this on last Saturday; uses Korean strawberries and pure cream.We didn’t use any ice cream maker, manually double freeze the mixture. We used three trays of ice with salt for the optimum condition and repeatedly massage the mixture for 30-45mins. Both of us got frostnip from the massaging process. I’m proud of our ice-cream, it’s way better than what I expected :) But the ice cream don’t look pink enough even though it really has a strong strawberry smell. Perhaps we will replace strawberry fresh milk next time.

Okay I know it’s 4am in the morning! I feel like posting a entry now. Just back from airport, saw Sylvia, like finally after 6 months. We were standing outside the gate there wondering how she look like after the 6 months of torturing attachment. Dayna even mistook one auntie as her, LOL! I’m the first one to spot her when she came down from the stairs. She was wearing a shirt saying “I survived Hong Kong” with a long grey jacket and she really put on weight. I guess HK food is way better than those in Singapore. And she was surprised to see us there, super reluctant to take photo because she feels that she’s fat. It’s okay, we can exercise together HAHA! Thinking back the first time I know her, and how she taught me to cycle, bruises everywhere on my leg. How she make me eat spicy food, I couldn't take any spiciness back in secondary one. She’s the one who introduce me games, be it ps or com rpg game, go lan shop to play. Used to go to her house to eat steamboat, watch shows together and play games. And how we decided to go on diet but end up none succeed, jog to simei and eat breakfast. I still can remember how we sneak out of our houses at 3am to eat breakfast and got caught by my father in the morning, opps! How we lose money on gambling until no money to eat and she’s always the one who tend to drink alot and got high, have to take care of her. Also, my first time accompanying her to A&E when she fell down in the bathtub. I really missed her as my neighbour and classmate.

Hello peeps! I’m back to update :) Spent my past 3 days at the loft with my class. Enjoy the company especially the steamboat and wii, all thanks to Jamien who thought of bringing wii to the loft if not we will be watching movies again, sorry I didn’t manage to get the controllers from my friend. My arms are aching after the whole afternoon of wii. And I was actually having a slight headache and sore throat during the stay, this cause me having difficulties to swallow food. I feel so guilty for sleeping so much, wanted to play wii at night but my body did not allow me to do so. opps! I cab home with Jamien and Marcus and sleep back again at home. sleepy head haha

Goodbye BLT, Hello holidays! :) Done with my exams, viva :( and the NUH farewell dinner! I spent my day at grandpa house today, we had a “lao yu sheng” and it surprisingly tasted quite nice with pineapples and seaweeds [special mix by the KOHS]. And my baby cousin is so cute, she likes to bite her fingers. See! cute right hahaha

Tomorrow it will be our turn to invite all the relatives to our house. Oh no, no chance to study. [I also didn’t plan to do so] :X

I just had my 3rd Japanese lesson this evening, and there was a mini section on learning origami. Sensei taught us how to fold a frog, super cute! Mine is the fiery hot pink frog. He even taught us a frog song and use harmonica to give the rhythm.

Oh no! I said I will start to study during the weekends but I did not. :( I’m been shopping for the both days.

Today I met Peizi and Shingo for shopping, both of them bought sneakers at soonlee, and I like one converse shoes there but it’s purple, should I buy??? I check it online, it’s all star light ox, chocolate is nice :) but it’ll be great with yellow! And I met into WeiNing at tangs armani jeans, she’s working there, my long time no see classmate. Shingo have to book in tonight, so they left in the evening. I was planning to shop for awhile before going back home and study*. But I ended up engrossed in shopping, saw so many nice clothes :) so far I haven’t buy any new bags or shoes yet, will look for them after cny. Okay! enough of my shopping confession. opps! I’m so satisfied with the things I bought.

Hello peeps! I’m back to blog! Hoho, I cut my hair today! I put off the idea of putting hair extension after trying clip on hair and wig last night. I look very weird with long hair, others told me because I’m not used to it. Perhaps I may try hair extension few months later, not now. :x

Yesterday, I went to meet Jasmine, Dayna and Queenie for dinner after BIF project discussion. Speaking of the devils, my Facebook profile is in a mess! Thanks to somebody who login my account and keep spamming shoutouts. No wonder Dayna dropped an obvious hint last night about Facebook notification mails, I still didn’t get what she mean. Nvm now I know, argh!

Oh ya! I’m so proud of myself, I went to Liting’s house to help her with the painting of her room. Though I didn’t paint much but I helped to prepare the steamboat, cut vegetables and the fish fillet with stubborn skin, I had the fishy smell stayed on my hand for the whole night! I realised that 960 bus journey from Bukit Panjang back to Bugis is fast. Before going to Liting house, I went to the NTU talk with Wang Qin then Weijie joined us later. I don’t find the talk useful to me, more or less I already decided to choose Biological Science at NTU.

Thinking of after graduating, I have to join the workforce in March. I don’t feel like growing up! Can I just fast forward to August when I step into my university life? :( I have not started to study for my exam, hopefully I can start my engine by this weekends because I still want to enjoy my CNY holidays. Jia you!

The last day of my NUH attachment! Whoa this semester is going to end soon. I will miss my friends, argh my brother is laughing behind. I really mean it, must keep in touch :( It’s quite scary how time flies so fast. And I’m kinda confirm my plan after graduation, thinking back few months ago, I was still in dilemma state. Get a temporary job at NUH until end of July and go for university August intake [tentatively].

It will be random topics starting from here……

Side track: Just received Sylvia’s postcard and she mailed it out during the December period in Hong Kong. She’ll be back during March, I’m looking forward! :)

I went to Johor on last Sunday with Peizi and confirm will go there again. We didn’t bought any clothes but spent alot on beauty products; facial care and hair care [I only started to use the organic olive hair product today, I’m so lazy but my hair is softer now]. And I think the m06 girls will definitely love that place, can we go there together next time?

Papaya is also good for constipation because I ate one big bowl of papaya yesterday before I went to swim and my digestive system is super efficient today[Btw I’m not having any constipation in the first place]. So if you hate real papaya, you can just buy papaya enzymes supplements at GNC, I think it helps. :)

Happy 21st Birthday, Trey!

Last Sunday Bunka new year party updates:

Basically, Bunka booked the whole Minori restaurant and we had buffet for our dinner. The man in grey shirt is my sensei, he has an animated character, super cute! I got to know my classmates better on that night, the first architect friends I made – They are married couple, came from indonesia, both of them are architects, so cool! and wen zhong san, both of us always screwed up during our lesson, haha!

Updates for the week:

I had my blood bank practical test on the Thursday, spent about 3-4 hours on it. Hmmm I think I didn’t make any huge careless mistakes, so should be okay! :)

Then we had our official dance practice on Friday. Actually, I went to practice beforehand with Zihui and some girls on Tuesday. So I managed to catch up the dance steps. But Friday wasn’t a good day to start with, Ruining had dislocation on her left knee during the dance practice. It was all of the sudden and most of us couldn’t react first, luckily we have first aiders in our class. Ambulance came and she was sent to NUH accompanied by Yuhuan. Ruining is really a strong girl! She didn’t cry at all and still smile back at us when she was carried to the ambulance. If it’s me, I guess I will cry when I heard my mum voice over the phone.

Get well soon, k! take good care, drink more water and rest well, don’t stay up too late at night. haha

Hohoho! I’m done with my Japanese test today! Well, it’s not that hard but I kind of screwed up during the oral test. Tomorrow I will receive a sms from them which determines I will pass or not. Pray hard!

I went with few of my classmates to the new year party at UE square, a happy dinner :) My sensei is super cute! I will upload the photos soon once I got them.

Tada! A belated present from the 3 guys, Marcus, Jamien and Soon Keong. It’s a Little twin stars wallet! Jamien just told me the reason why the present arrive so late. They ship it from overseas and takes about a month to reach Singapore. That’s why they felt guilty about this. It’s okay, I haven’t 满月yet. Don’t feel bad :) Actually I didn’t even know they prepare a present for me. Thanks alot! I like the snowman card too :) 真有心！Btw, I take the photos on my bed. :X

14 hours to my Japanese test!

Hi everyone! How’s your Saturday? :) Well for me, I spent most of my time on studying my Japanese, even called up my cousin for help. I have hard time in memorizing the verbs and vocabulary. Never mind, at least I try my best, hopefully I can pass the test tomorrow then I can enjoy my new year party in evening! Wish me good luck, k!I went down for a swim today! As mentioned by Marcus, Exercise must be consistent. Yes I must start the routine!

I had my afternoon duty for the NP open house yesterday.

That’s why you see us in lab coats in the photos! Basically, we are doing the same things as the last year open house; bloog typing, blood pressure taking, BMI testing. And I spent most of my time at the BMI testing section. It’s kind of laidback there so we have to attract “customers” to our section. But the OSIM weighing device kept giving errors, quite irritating.

We went to visit other stations outside the laboratory before our duty. I had a chance to touch the rabbit, guinea pig, starfish and baby shark from the Vet Science section. Actually, I didn’t know the fish I touch with my bare hands is a baby shark – Rui Ning told me about it. Wonder if I know the true identity first, will I touch it? Hmmm…

We really love tricia’s new camera! It has the beauty mode which capture our pretty face nicely! After the open house, we started to camwhore especially Mr Wang.

Yohooo~ How’s your new year? :) I hope it’s a good start for everyone! I capture this photo using my phone during the countdown for new year, only snap one shot, because Jasmine had already taken many photos of the fireworks with her camera. Nice shot, arh? Please take time to admire. :)

I had two Japanese lessons for this weekends, it’s totally squeezing my brain juice and strength that couldn’t replace by any means of carbohydrate. But I enjoy the lessons and wish to move on to Elementary 2 level. Judging from my current situation, well can I pass the test? Oh no! I asked sensei about the test format today, he told me that there will be a oral and written test! All along I thought they only assess the written part for elementary level. :( I MUST study hard for next whole week. Test is on next Sunday!

Okay, enough of the worries! Let’s talk about something else! I went to shop after my Japanese class today. I have not changed my pencil case since year 2, so I decided to buy a new one!

Goodbye 2009, Hello 2010 :)

Before I begin with my fresh new day of 2010, I want to reflect on my 2009 and how I wish to improve for 2010. Caution: A lengthy post ahead!

General: My 2009 is not as exciting as others. But I had tried to change my lifestyle to a healthy one unlike 2008. Swimming is a sport that I have and it lasted for months! This is so unlikely for a person who has short attention span. I feel that I’m healthier than last time. I started to invest more on my skin and hair. And getting poorer is not I want for 2009. Studies wise, I handled quite well in BLT. I also maintained good relationship with everyone.

Health: I didn’t experience any major hiccups for my health, that’s a good news to announce. Well, the frequency of getting flu/cold/cough [upper respiratory illness?] had markedly reduced as compared to 2008. I hope this can be maintained or even improved in future. I started swimming on January and surprisingly it lasted for 9 months! Hmmm I guess my determination is getting stronger and I indeed build a better immune system – this is reflected on the low occurrence of getting any illness/infection. But sad to say that I had stopped swimming since October. I also began to drink more water, if you are my classmates, you might already realized my water bottle had evolved from a 500ml to 1 litre capacity long ago. Water is the essential fluid for humans and I really benefited from it – I had a hard time of dealing with constipation, even bought detox capsules but realized they gave me diarrhea and I don’t want this. This is when I started to drink MORE water and consume more vegetables and fruits [in the past, I seldom eat vegetable]. Now I do not have any digestion problem, I feel fresh! The depressing part is I put on weight! Trying to cut down on my diet.

What I need to improve for 2010: I have to start exercise and drink even more water – I tend to drink less at home. I should cut down on fried food, chocolates and cakes, the latter is my weak spot. :(

Beauty: As I grow up, I become more “beauty-conscious”. Back in year 1 and 2, I only used facial cleanser as my skincare routine. I had my first time using masks, toner, night cream and sunscreen lotion. However, only toner and night cream have officially joined my skincare regime. As for the masks and sunscreen lotion, I used them thoroughly during the period when I experienced bad sunburns from the BLT camp. I vividly remembered that I’m devastated at that moment, my skin was in a terrible condition, it kept peeling off and the skin tone darken by 2-3 shades. In addition, I had my swimming on every Saturday morning, don’t know why I choose to swim in the morning, crazy! In such a desperate situation, I seek for help from skincare products like aloe vera masks, aloe vera cream and Brands royal jelly supplements. My skin improved over the time and I swim only in the evening. I'm glad that my skin tone is fairer but not as fair as last time. Aha! the battle against pimples is still going on, haven’t gotten any solution for it. For my hair, I had a bad rebond during the end of 2008. So I didn’t do any chemical treatment on my hair for the whole 2009. And my natural hair condition is not good at all, stiff and ugly natural wave. Throughout 2009, I created huge mess-up on my hair. And it gets better when I went for a Japanese hair stylist to change my hair look. I began to blow dry more often too. :( I’m still having problem dealing with my hair too.

What I can improve for 2010: Better lifestyle gives me a better skin! I may want to try on organic skincare products and make-up which I always want to learn. I may considered having a longer hair and get it rebonded by professional hairstylist! HAHA

Wealth: A poor 2009 I had been through! No extra cash flow because I didn’t went to work during the holidays. My dad was not as generous as in the past. Shopping trips had greatly decreased, less new clothes. But I’m still splurging on the entertainment part – movies, foods, etc. I confessed that I’m a gullible consumer.

What I must improve for 2010: Have a better financial management. Get a job after graduate!

Studies: I got my best GPA result in 2009 which is a good thing to say! Final Year Project – This is the first time involving in a project for months with a partner. And we did our best for the report and presentation. I learnt to be more independent and have stronger mentality from this project. Besides that, I managed to cross my own barrier and learn phlebotomy skill but I still couldn’t treat it as a easy task to do. Attachment at polyclinic also make me handle with patients, drawing blood from real patients! Fortunately, I didn’t make any major mistakes there. :) My poly life is going to end soon, I’m stuck in a dilemma state about what should I do after graduation. Recently, I started to attend Japanese classes – I have grown to love Japan, this might be due to Japanese drama or my cousin’s influence. I kept dozing off during the lecture time – ever since kindergarten, I already have this habit.

What I expect for 2010: My last GPA shouldn’t pull my cumulative GPA down. Apply for university? Hope I can know what I want soon. Kick the bad habit of dozing off in class, maybe try to reduce.

Relationship: This section will be divided into 3 parts – Family, Friends and Love.

My relationship with family: We started to have more family gatherings in 2009. BBQ or potluck with the KOHS. I get to interact more with my cousins and we began to have supper and dinner outside. With their recommendation, I also signed up for my Japanese lesson at the same school with them. They share new/interesting information with me too. I have less quarrels with my parents or siblings, I’m grown up. :)

Friendship: 2009 is the crossing point where my secondary clique got to mix with my polytechnic friends. Occasionally, we had dinner or celebrate birthdays together. I guess everyone enjoy the company especially with me, HAHA! I don’t have any quarrel with my secondary clique and we still hang out as usual except for Sylvia who went overseas since September 2009. Friendship with poly friends [m06 and BLT] is getting closer and better. My new friends were mainly from the NDP volunteering events, looking forward to meet them again.

Love: Interesting topic but boring truth – No one involved in my love life for 2009. It’s okay, I’m satisfied with my current situation.

What I hope to see in 2010: More family gatherings = more interaction. I don’t wish my friendship with poly friends drift away after graduation, hope to meet up more often. Maybe hope to meet a better man! :)

Here’s the delayed post about my birthday celebration. Okay, let’s start off with the 23rd celebration together with Rapheal’s birthday. :)

Rapheal and I joined the m06 girls for dinner at Mushroom Pot, we didn’t know they went to prepare our cakes before meeting us. So it become a sweet surprise for both of us when we saw Peizi and Zixin holding the cakes and walked towards us after they gave an excuse of going to the toilet. Thank you so much! I really love the cake, it’s so cute and colourful. But they refused to eat the cake with us since the buffet had already filled their stomach to the brim. No choice I ate half of the cake myself, luckily it’s not that big, phew! Right after that, Jasmine and Hairul joined us at the zouk. Well, it was very crowded at that night. We managed to enter the zouk but the baggage point is full. I see no point staying there being squeezed like sardine. So we walk all the way to Clarke quay together with Hairul’s friends too. Finally, we decided to go Zirca because Hairul said some of his friends were there. I don’t like either Zirca or rebel since I have bad experience there before. Surprisingly, it turned out to be quite okay, and we stayed on until the club is going to close. Then I joined Jasmine, Hairul and his friends for breakfast while the other girls went home.

I had a dreamless sleep after I reached home at 7+ am. My mum started to wake me up in the late afternoon because my family planned to treat me nice food for my birthday dinner. The last dinner with them was like few months ago. Well, it’s a joyful dinner with my parents, my brother and sister. :)

Christmas night! Countdown to my birthday! :) I went to watch Alvin and the Chipmunks with Louis. Jasmine and Hairul joined us afterwards. And we stayed on until the clock strikes twelve! They prepared a small cake for me. Thank you!

26th December 2009! Hohoho! This is my day!

I remembered that I overslept that morning because I totally ignored my alarm clock ringing. opps! But managed to meet them for ktv session. The last ktv session was with Sylvia before she left for Hong kong attachment. We went to dine in at Ebisboshi for our dinner [I went there again on Monday, lol]. Then Cynthia went missing without realising. She appeared with the cake with 18 candles. HAHA I know I’m still look like 18 :) They requested me to lick the words written using the icing cream on the ribbon – by the way the words are Happy 19th Birthday, Meezhen or Meezhen Happy 19th birthday. I didn’t stay out too late because I had Japanese lesson on the next day.

I went to meet Yaxiu together with Dayna on yesterday for dinner and movie. I haven’t seen yaxiu for months! Hopefully we can meet up more often next time. I asked her about university stuffs. Hmmm, I’m considering local university instead. You might wondering why I change my mind since I’m been saying I will go overseas to study. HA! ask me personally for answer! And I didn’t expect Yaxiu to prepare my birthday present attached with a small card, so nice of her! :)

So what’s your plan for new year countdown tomorrow? I may be going to the barrage to see fireworks but I can tell it’s going to be very crowded there.

Sorry to disappoint you, this post will be a simple one. I haven’t gotten all the photos for my birthday celebration yet. I will update a longer and detailed one soon!

Well, I enjoyed my 19th birthday celebration, be it on the 23rd, 24th, 25th night[countdown :)] and 26th, the actual day. Ya! I celebrate my birthday for 4 consecutive days with family and friends. You must be thinking what’s so special to celebrate 4 times. Haha I’m glad that the people around me made an effort and spend time to celebrate with me. I’m really touched! I also love the gifts and cards given by them especially Dayna’s card, best drawings! And special thanks to those who remember my birthday and sms or fb to wish me. What can I ask for more? :) Perhaps Sylvia being here to celebrate with me, Thanks girl, I like your blog post wishing me happy birthday! We will celebrate the next birthday together.

Before the clock strike twelve, I must say this….. It’s Dong Zhi today! have you eat your glutinous rice balls? We are one year older! :]

Okay, I shall not spoil the momentum of blogging every Sunday!

Hohoho! The smell of Christmas is coming! I have not mailed any cards for many years, this year I’m doing it again :) Basically, I’m sending my greetings to my friends around, secondary school clique, poly friends and the girl at Hong Kong. So friends don’t be envy, I’m getting a different card for her. Opps!

Tomorrow is my 3 in 1 common test! All the best for me and my classmates :) Though this time we are facing difficult modules like molecular diagnostic and irritating lab management, both of them drain our energy like demon! But! I’m positive that we can pass the barrier and score well. It’ll be fine! :)

Finally transferred some photos taken from my phone to the desktop. The photo at the left was taken 1 month ago when I was walking towards the bus stop in the morning, sometimes I feel that the sky at my house area is really pretty, but too bad my phone couldn’t capture it nicely. Aha, the right one, I took this photo during the dusk but the photo appeared to be darker.

Surprise! This was taken on the day we went back to NP for NHG career talk. And we dine at a super-lousy-service pizza hut at bukit timah plaza. Saw Dayna and her friends, she’s the photographer. Weijie should be in the photo but he moved and my phone just simply ignore his existence. HAHA

A new Sunday post! [I guess I can make it a habit to post on every Sunday.]

I have recently been to some shops selling Sanrio stuffs, notice the increasing number of little twin stars products on shelf. I’m so tempted to buy all, but original Sanrio products are expensive. :( Perhaps it’s because of the winter season, twin stars are featured on Sanrio. Interested to see my little twin stars collection? I might post photos of them when I’m free, most probably during the term break, not that many as compared to Shili, but I’m still proud of my collection.

I break my promise to start studying this week, but at least I tidied my table to prepare an intensive mugging for tomorrow onwards. Hopefully, I can be ready for the paper by Saturday.

Side track: I laughed a lot during my Japanese class today. Sensei asked a question saying “ How long would I take from here to India by bus?” and he asked our Indian classmate to answer. The classmate was kind of confused by the word “ by bus” and he answered “1 month”. Sensei asked another funny question again – How long would I take from here to France by walking? Someone answered “It will take years to reach.” HAHAHA I really enjoyed the lesson but it’s getting even harder. :(

Just back from my Japanese class, I can say it’s becoming more difficult to handle because sensei remove all the English words, he started using hiragana to teach. My brain processed the hiragana characters at a super slow speed. I’m so worried for my Japanese test on the 10th January, haven’t memorize any vocabulary words at all. Argh! It’s okay! 船到桥头自然直! I missed the last Sunday cultural event – making 2010 calendar, gonna attend the next event! :) Let’s see what I’ll be busying with for both December and January.

Aha! Delayed photos again :x Last week was fun except the fact that I skipped my attachment on Thursday, opps! Nice and long weekends I had [thurs – sun].

Dayna’s birthday was on the Monday, 23rd November. We went to have our mini celebration dinner at East coast park food lagoon. Everyone gave her ang bao as her present, she’s a rich girl now. We were deciding on taking cab to parkway or walk to there, then Dayna went to approach a group of people to ask “should we take cab or walk?” HAHA

A few of us “represent” blt to join the polyimpics on last Tuesday, and we played netball. Guess what’s our group name? ans: osk – a bad omen. We didn’t win any match throughout the game, but it’s a good experience to have.

Since I skipped my Thursday attachment, I went to meet the girls to spend the whole night out. Slept for the whole friday, here’s goes my hari raya holiday. Then spent my weekends at outside too. =)

Oh no! I haven’t started my revision for the common test yet. Totally no drive to study. Have to start asap, maybe next week?

Then he will point at his tummy, saying given his size, it’s obvious he don't go for jogging! HAHA Sensei recommend a Japanese restaurant at Raffles city, selling nice tempura. Yum yum I will try next time. But I think my sore throat is getting worse, today started coughing, oh no!

The progress of learning

Hello peeps!

I have project discussion tomorrow again! :( It’s a busy semester packed with projects and the usual attachment at NUH. Well, I can count myself a lucky fellow who had just ended 3 presentations last week. And I felt so good after presenting wisp presentation, we did quite well for it, proud of us. Overall for the both IM presentations, I guess I did a decent job and we managed to answer the questions accordingly. We have done our best, don’t feel down if the presentation is not up to the lecturer’s expectation, treat it as a experience. :) Hopefully, I can finish the last IM slides by tomorrow, I did not start ahead doing first while Marcus and Liting were busy for the other presentations. Opps! sorry for being a lazy bum for this whole week because I have been addicted watching the family outing, it’s a korean variety show. Oh ya! I also started my Japanese lesson last two weeks ago. Frankly speaking, I had difficulties in understanding and learning lots of new things during the first lesson, from hiragana to conversation. It turned better for the second lesson, I felt happy that I can actually catch up and manage to remember the sentence pattern [Japanese grammar], applause please. :D

Dayna’s birthday is round the corner! She wants angbao as her present, I shall be a good friend to fulfill her wish.

Queenie and Shili’s 19th Birthdays!

I had been eating good food after the FYP was officially over. =D All thanks to queenie and shili! We had birthday celebration for both of them that cause extra damage to my wallet. HAHA

5 of us including Jasmine, Cynthia, Dayna, Queenie and I had a dinner at the Giraffe restaurant and bar on Friday evening. The food is unexpectedly cheaper than what we thought and I like the ambience there. We told the boss about Queenie’s birthday and he gave her a complimentary mock tail, LOL! It’s funny when Dayna ordered a slice of chocolate cake, the staff thought it’s for queenie so they use chocolate sauce to write “Happy Bday” on the plate itself.

Queenie made a room reservation at Tomoizakaya for shili and her birthday dinner. 12 of us turn up for the celebration, it’s a big group! We had fun and chit chats in the room, meanwhile spamming photos too. I didn’t order alot for that dinner unlike in the past, mainly because I’m trying to save up as much as possible. My self determination attained a higher level now! HAHA oh ya! jeremiah secretly bought a bouquet of roses for Shili which make her almost cry, so sweet right!

FYP is over! I seldom blog about my school stuff, hmmm I try to write a brief one about my project reflection.

Well, my project seem to be much easier than the other groups. No hands on = Flexible timing, No statistical data to interpret. But it really took us sometime to figure out what’s the meaning behind our project. Project discussions with Elias were usually kind of laidback, our supervisor even questioned us whether we did enough literature review for the project. opps! Frankly speaking, this week is our busiest week apart from the fyp period, we have been staying late in NUH for our presentation. Something happened on the Wednesday night, I don’t wish to blog more about it. But the Thursday presentation was beyond my expectation, it turned out to be a great one! Dr tang said “It’s not bad!” HAHA All I can say that I’m blessed to have an “unproblematic” project. Good job for my partner and I! Thank you, Dr Tang!

Zihui and Sooria were selected to take part in the best poster award for the NHG congress. Whole class went down to support them and take photos, lol. Congratulation to them for getting a merit for it! =)

After the fyp presentation, the tension in my heart or maybe my stomach immediately disappeared! Phew! We had our “celebration feast” at Seoul garden in the evening, it’s a happy occasion where almost everyone in our class attended. BUT! my clothes and bag smell badly, I don’t think I will dine at Seoul garden again.

I guess I will blog about queenie and shili’s birthday celebration other time. The pictures are not with me yet. So stay tune! =D [And perhaps a short post about the plan after graduation, confused.]

I met up with the girls on last Monday, too bad Dayna couldn’t make it. We had our coffee talk at the Bugis Starbucks then proceed to the Japanese coffee house to have dinner, because Cynthia and Queenie had not eaten anything yet. And… here comes the camwhore craze! We took many many photos; countless? not really!

BLT stay @ Loft started on the Wednesday! I went to meet Yuhuan, Ruining and Marcus to buy the food for the steamboat. Thanks to Yuhuan and Ruining, they brought their pot and Yuhuan even settled the marinated chicken at home. We indeed bought too much ingredients at the Sheng Shiong supermarket, opps! This is my first experience staying in Loft, it look like a showroom and I simply love the toilet, sunflower showerhead! How I wish my home showerhead can be that big and strong. Overall, the steamboat is the only highlight for the stay, the remaining time we spent are mostly on watching movie and slacking. It’s flexible, own time own target.

My baby cousin just had her full month celebration on last Friday. Babies love to sleep, only wake up to drink milk, she’s no exception too. We had buffet at the function room. Wonder who is the little boy at the bottom left of the picture? He’s my second youngest cousin, like to stick with my brother, always called my brother “yi mu kor kor” though his name is “ling mu”; from zero wood to one wood. LOL! And the pretty young girl in the picture is my niece, she is one year old now, only know how to call her grandma “ah….. mah…” So cute!

Here comes the long waiting UDDERS ice cream workshop! The warm Sunday morning with the cooling ice cream makes my day! We signed up for the workshop 1 or 2 months ago, 7 of us includes me, Queenie, Tricia, Peizi, Shili, her sister and her sister’s friend. First, we learn what’s the main component for the ice cream, how to make ice cream at home. Then we get to hands on to make our own ice cream in pairs. Peizi and I chose chocolate as our flavour, Shili goes for the vanilla and Tricia and Queenie had to take coconut instead. Surprisingly, the “not so popular” coconut ice cream end up to be the nicest! And Shili’s low sugar vanilla ice cream really taste like no sugar added. The prime of the workshop is the ice cream buffet! We get to try all the ice cream flavours offered in the store and free waffles are provided! I love the choya plum wine and hazel nuts ice cream. Definitely will drop by someday to buy these two favourites. There is a huge suggestion board in the store, they allow customers to write down any new flavours and whichever suggested flavour has the highest votes, UDDERS will try to make it out! But, ginger flavour is highly voted, weird? And we even saw suggestions such as kimchi, maggi mee tom yum flavour or even mango with chilli. If these three ice creams are out for sale, will you buy and try them?

Thanks to cynthia, I got my younger time photos, feel like going back to bvss. I look nerd right? I couldn’t remember when I took all these photos, perhaps it’s within the secondary 3 timeline. How I wish I can get all the photos taken since secondary 1, I lose all these precious photos whenever my computer gone haywire and need to reformat without backing up all the data. Regret.

Spend Less, Save More!

What a happy Friday I have! My father offered to pay my Japanese lesson fee which I already planned to save my pocket money and pay for it. However, my current status = Financially limited. I should start spending less and save more, change the bad habit.

Today, I went to meet Cynthia, Dayna and Queenie at Tampines 1 to have a drink and chit chat. Queenie managed to buy her pumps, she’s very pleased with the shoes. Whoa! We also did meet up on Tuesday for a Korean meal at Doong Ji [ It’s a recommended Korean eatery which located along Upper East Coast Road] Hopefully, we can gather few more times again. [Contradiction detected: Do not spend too much when meeting them]

Opps! frankly speaking, I have not touch on my FYP for this week! So bad! I MUST WRITE SOMETHING ON THE REPORT BY SUNDAY! A promise is made.

FACTS or MYTHS: Young children who keep sucking his/her thumb for years will cause the teeth to have jagged edges. Answer: Facts! Because I’m one of the victims =(

19092009 – A day at east coast park, though only a few of us turn up, but it was a enjoyable outing. =) We didn’t really planned our activity for the day, just sit at the beach, enjoying the breeze and chit chat, then went to the food lagoon to have our dinner. The food sellers were very enthusiastic to grab business from each other. When we settled down and decided to buy drinks from the nearest stall, here comes the uncle from another drink stall stood right beside us and ask what drinks do we want. LOL! We ordered a variety of food to share among us – satay, bbq stingray, sotong, chicken wings, popiah. The 6 of us proceeded to the beach again to digest our meal and journey to the mac began from there – It’s a very long walk to the donald. I had my mc flurry as my dessert, do you know females have second stomach that cater for sweet treats only? It’s true, okay!

Hohoho! New member for the Koh family! She's my cousin, born on the 9th September 2009 aka 090909. My family and I went to see her in the afternoon and bought many many pretty clothes for her! Super cute baby =D
Last week was my mdc attachment which can be better if I don't skip so much of it and fell sick during the week. I realised I do not have a single post about jasmine and peizi birthday celebration, so combined some photos into one page. ~~Blogspot is making the picture quality worse, may move to livejournal if possible.~~ Windows Live Writer make my day, next time shall post entry using the software, user friendly, more features and your picture quality stays the same!

Hi ya! late update again. My august month is dedicated for exams and mugging, perhaps volunteering for ndp events is the most enjoyable things I had for the august. Forget to mention celebration for jasmine very belated birthday and peizi birthday are also the FUN things. And big changes start to take place with sylvia leaving us for her 6 mths OIAP to hong kong on the 1st september. No hanging out with her for 6 months! ARGH.
9th September is also a BIG day! My aunt is delivering her baby on that day, Sylvia's brother is serving the national service and me taking my swimming test =)
Besides this, I have to face my FYP, poor BLTians still need to go back nuh!

Last thursday was my last day of attachment at hougang polyclinic, kinda miss the staffs there. They taught me many things and always shared food with me and jac. Nurse day also fall on the same day, so we went for the buffet during lunch time and got involved for one game. I won a DARS dark chocolates =)
And as usual, I have to volunteer for the saturday preview, it gets boring at the end of the parade because we have to wait for the vip to leave the post parade event. Yesterday was actually planned to celebrate jasmine birthday, perhaps sunday is a busy day for everyone and so we postpone to next friday.
I have to stay at home for next two weeks to study and complete my 72 questions tutorial which is on this wednesday =(

Yum Yum Yum! Do the fruit tarts look yummy to you? =) well they are indeed quite nice, i like the chocolate strawberry the most. They are available at the fruit paradise, Orchard central. Tricia, queenie, peizi, shingo and I went there last sunday, actually we were planning to go takashimaya but on the way there, it started raining, so we went to the new mall to shelter from the rain and came across this cafe called Fruit paradise. =) At first tricia saw the stall and told me to go there and buy fruits but to our surprise, they are selling fruit tarts not fruits, oppss! HAHA

I was enjoying my thursday attachment at hougang polyclinic, because the staffs there had a mini birthday celebration for 4 staffs including my in-charge whose birthdays fall in the month of July. We went to the conference room upstair at level 3 to celebrate and have our lunch there. One of the staff there baked the birthday cake, it tasted very nice! The dark chocolate taste with a tint of banana smell. And we sang the birthday song softly... cannot disturb the people who are having some conference at the next room. I felt that the staffs are like a big family there. =)

I was not in my best condition for friday swimming, might be due to the lack of consuming of water and caused my legs to cramp and couldn't swim a few laps. Lesson learnt, I should hydrate myself before swimming or drink salt water on thursday night [though I dont really want to drink salty water]. After swimming, I went with my cousins to eat dinner at Koo Kee, we discussed about the japanese classes, maybe after my exam in august, I might take up japanese classes.

Now, i'm going off to the school I'm deployed for the NE show 2, hopefully it will be an enjoyable parade for today! NO RAIN please!

imperfection? I baked these cookies on the tuesday night, the preparation part before the cookies are ready to put into the oven to bake took about 3 hours because the cookies dough need to be chilled in the fridge for half an hour, take the dough out roll in a log size and chill again for 2 hours. Oh anyway, they are the lemon and lavender cookies. Others said the cookies are nice but they dun really like the lavender smell in their mouth, same to me, I rather lavender to be my body wash instead, opps. As you can see one of my cookies is chipped off due to my clumsiness, my bad.

I enjoyed and had alot of fun during the CR3 parade yesterday, and one more good thing is my group got a cute looking army personnel in-charge of us. The girls are giving him a nickname so in the future we can use it and chat about it w/o anyone knowing. HAHA

WEEE! I'm glad that there's no ndp training today, give me a chance to rest at home, slept for 13 hrs++ =)

One week holiday, I only get to join my friend out for a night on wednesday, hopefully I can meet up with them more frequently, maybe weekly? Kai'en finally joined us on the wednesday night! HA! We went to the brewerkz at riverside point to have dinner, dayna and I were hoping to order their home brewed beer but didnt manage to stay there and drink, sorry because I'm not determined with my decision and change my choice to "anything". SO BAD! haha we went to the highlander to get a drink, expecting the acoustic live band will be great, but disappointment arrived.

Then, we even went to gotham because free pass for ladies and free flow drinks available! And we did two embarrassing things at there, I shall not elaborate more. After the trip to gotham, My whole face, no! whole body turns so red! It looks more like allergy rash =( and get even itchy for the whole night. sad!

Got home at about 1am, thinking that next day can rest at home. BUT end up in nuh for the whole day on thursday until 9 pm+! Elias and I have to do our abstract and submit to the osk by thursday, and my supervisor is very pissed off with her, cos we only have half of our result out and osk still wanted us to submit our abstract to the NHG conference. Actually I'm okay not joining the NHG conference cos I agreed with my supervisor, our project must have quality not rushing through. Really pity those groups whose project period havent even officially started, but had to rush through and get it done by this week, this is ridiculous! This is not final year project, it seem like a one week assignment. Wont continue talking about this, if not I will keep complaining and complaining. I'm a great person!

Later, I'm going to east coast park lagoon food centre to eat bbq food! =) I'm planning to buy a crumpler bag tml, hopefully I can get the colour I want. A song to share! It's the ending song for a japanese drama "Absolute Boyfriend", It's very nice! The song called "Okaeri" by Ayaka.

Let's start off with the Labour day BBQ, 1st of may, 1 month ago. We have a small bbq and also celebrated sylvia's brother's 9 yrs old birthday. Though, I only managed to book a pit without any pavilion for our bbq but we maximise the use of the bbq pit and turned out to be a great bbq that night! It's really enjoyable and I'm wishing for a second one soon =)
I have my both good friends whose birthday fall in the month of May, Cynthia and Ya Xiu.
For cynthia, we went to celebrate her birthday at a Korean BBQ restaurant located along the Joo Chiat road and we have our own room to dine in! It's our first-time experience and will visit there again! The next day, cynthia, dayna, jasmine and I meet for a night out at Clarke Quay and dayna and I went to cynthia's house at 3am for a stayover. And so the monring I got home to rest and meet queenie at bugis junction to buy ya xiu's present but end up going to taka there to get her present. After that, we join jasmine and hairul and proceed to ya xiu's chalet and celebrate her birthday there along with her 3 sisters whose birthdays ALSO fall at the end of May. I also get to see those friends I have not been in contact for 1 or 2 years. =(

A dinner with cynthia, dayna and sylvia at the White Sands, Fish Manhattan yesterday. And yes, four of us have not meet up together since the holiday starts =( I brought my camera to there, hoping to take a group photo but failed to do so. Anyway candid photos are also not bad! Actually, I was having flu and sore throat before meeting them =( after having a flaming platter for one, my throat aches even more, sad sad.
Sylvia taught me a chinese proverb. I still not so sure of the proverb in chinese characters [pinying: mo fei shan xiao, er bu zhou mo fei e xiao, er bu zhi]. But she explain the meaning to me, I try to type it out: one thinks that doing good is a small thing, he/she will not do it, and for one thinks that the evil thing he/she will do is a small issue, go on to do it. Sorry for my bad explanation =X

BLT 19/20 camp

Just back from the BLT orientation camp for the juniors yesterday. Well, the main purpose for this camp is to bond with the junior so we had acheived it =) And yes, I cant deny that I do have some complaints about this camp; wont elaborate more about it. Anyway, the camp had officially ended, and most of us are sunburnt! esp henry! HAHA eeewww uneven skin tone! =(
Okay, I really enjoy the games we had for the camp, we first start out with the icebreaking games [double wacko and tablecloth; I personally prefer double wacko]. And we have the Senior hunt, Liting and I are the game ICs for the game station called "Pass the bomb" [it's a wet game]. Then at night, we had an educational station games for the juniors, I myself in charge of one station = "Finding the WBC names" but end up I was chatting with darren while waiting for the juniors to come [shhh! darren also help me up with my station, thanks man!]
The next day, we went to east coast park to play captain's ball, it's was fun but the last round, ruining and I started dodging the ball =X . After that, we went for cycling, this is where i got my sun burn! Side track: I think the food provided are really great! And the BBQ was really good! Thanks for the people who are involved with the food and logistics! Good job! =)
Beside that, I really agree with the last part of Ruining's post regarding about the camp. I dont wish to add in more comments about it, afterall we still have to be classmates for one whole year =)

Hooded pitta

It flew to my house yard on the 28th November 2008. This morning, my dad saw an article on the chinese newpaper, saying about exotic birds in singapore. There's a photo of a bird beside the article, and it looks about the same as the one that flew to my house. The article mentioned about the bird's name [Blue-winged pitta]. So i went to google it, but found out that this bird who flew to my house is actually known as Hooded pitta. Haha same genus, but different species.

Parent and child donburi

Today, my mum and I cook Oyakodon for the first time.
A brief background knowledge for everyone =)
Oyakodon literally means "parent-and-child donburi" taken from wikipedia ["Oya" means parent" in japanese, so "ko" means child]. Anyway eggs and chicken are its main ingredients. Chicken is simmered in a sweet, salty sauce before the egg is added and tada! The egg-chicken mixture is served on top of a bowl of rice.
Okay, interested to know the key ingredients for the sweet and salty sauce?
They are dashi stock [classic japanese stock made of dried kelp and bonito flakes, you can bought it at your nearest NTUC fairprice outlet, but you might not find any sauce with "dashi stock" printed on the bottle. The trick is to look at the ingredient of some seasoning soy sauce, if you can manage to find both dried kelp and bonito flakes in the sauce's ingredient - AND that's the one! ], soy sauce and mirin[rice wine].

Time to share some advices for people who wants to cook this dish
1) Plain rice will do [ my mum went to cook chicken rice, she afraid the egg-chicken mixture is not tasty enough. In the end, chicken rice doesn't mix well with the egg mixture.]
2) Since dashi stock is considered as seasoning soy sauce, you can add less soy sauce to the sauce.
Overall, it's a simple dish to prepare. =) ask me for the recipe if you're interested.

Finally! a new entry ever since I changed my blogskin. Ya, simple and plain =)

February, a month of study breaks and exam. What can i say? back in december, i sat for the common test then after 1 month, i'm preparing for exam. It's lifeless. 6 days of holidays after exam which I don't really looking forward.

GRADUATION is the day I want it to come earlier!

Next semester, the start of my year 3, it will be very busy, not just for me, for the whole BLT. Hope we do enjoy the last year in BLT, be positive! =)

Hmmm, I think it's not too late for me to say out my new year resolution, i know it's already end of chinese new year now. Okay, interested to know?

A healthy lifestyle is what I wish for.

Eating vegetables is the very first step I made. And swimming is already part of my routine regime. Hopefully, I will start to have a regular running routine asap. I have a task for all my friends -Please nag at me if i'm getting lazier or not eating any vegetables. It nagging doesn't work on me, CURSE me! opps!

yup! i'm here to blog, sorry for not updating constantly. Hee, friends don't complain so much, should get used to it but do remember to hop to my blog occassionally not everytime cos updates are rare* Consequences for not blogging 2 months : I will not write too much about the 2 months. Well, this week is boring and SICKening for me, sore throat and flu had conquered me; eating antibiotics make me feel so close to microbiology and Common test is irritating, too much information to digest but lucky thing is CT on next week. The sad thing IS friends finished their tests on THIS week so now = sour grapes period for me. Okay, back to CT, I had just finished studying haematology, today study session ends early =) What makes me worry is Lab tech 2, which I didnt even touch it yet - Tomorrow will be the day. Microbiology is easier to study, bet others will agree too and for haem, it is still understandable. Now, the prediction of my tomorrow = it will be a tough day for me and i cant attend jasmine's dance performance. Talking about this, Jasmine! I'm so sorry!

My caring side: BLT 19 xin ku le! Everyone is mugging VERY hard but do remember to REST! Good luck for CT!

So any plan after CT? hmmm I'll be celebrating my advanced birthday on CT that day, it's kind of early and I'm lazy to celebrate. Holidays = no more! eewww 3 more days to the new semester. BUT! The doctor was unable to find the particular vein. =( All the effort has been wasted.

The hospital food, it's not appetizing at all. haha

We bought fishball noodles for cynthia and sylvia was trying to make the fishballs into smaller pieces for her =)

See! The bee is smiling! =) Just like my face when i ate durian this morning. hee all thanks to my uncle! He went to somewhere in the west there and managed to pick one small durian early in the morning. Back at my grandma's house, i also had some yam paste and tomato with green apple ice blended made by my aunt [I dont really like the tomato taste].

After all the pleasant things, my grandpa asked my bro the same old question again. When is my brother going to have girlfriend and settled down? Argh! And ended up being my father and brother arguing about this topic. Well, all of us think that father is at the wrong side so we followed bro and walked out of the house. But it's resolved when father apologised to bro on the way home.

Hopefully, this wont happen again =) However! based on my grandpa's character, he will still pester my bro about getting married asap and eventually it leads to more heated discussions. Sigh!

Anyway, i cant really do anything out of it so let's dont talk about it anymore! =D

OH NO!

I always thought I'm O+ but proven wrongly today at blood bank =(

Hockwan, yinling, sooria and me went to take our own blood sample to do blood grouping and antibodies screening.

Okay, This is the blood group screening. Counting from the left, the first tube is to detect for any antigen A. Apparently, it is tested positive, opps!

2. Microbiology; non-theory based paper which killed everyone in the exam hall.
3. Inorganic & Physical Chemistry; able to finish it on time, should be alright =)

WE saw one sea turtle on land! It slowly walked to the beach and back to the sea. 3 guys who saw the sea turtle told us that we will have good luck! =D

1. Dine-in at Botak Jones & bought my 2008 organizer at BORDERS.

2. Help up for the NP LSCT open house, accompany andy and his clique to FMS open house .

3. Paid $556 for the YEP yunnan trip.

4. Mum's side, Cousin's Wedding Dinner. The dinner was nice!

5. FISHING! caught 2 fish in one row! Quite scary. Bought materials for my CATS project at DAISO.

6. Dad's side, Cousin's Wedding Dinner. My brother and I woke up at 5 plus to go with my cousin to take his bride from her house.

7. Maths CCT Argh! the system accidentally marked one of my answers wrongly!

8. IPC Practical Test 2, not bad =) got tips from the people who did their test before us. Thanks!

9. John Little Mega Sales with peizi, tricia and queenie, bought a Solvil titus watch, my fav brand! =D and 1st time in my life helping up to choose men's boxer lol.

10. Dine-in at Macau Express Cafe, the food have slightly higher MSG content.

11. CATS Project PRESENTATION! wow, i can say this is the best presentation i ever had in np; everything went smoothly!

12. Shopping with Queenie and peizi, jasmine and her classmates meet us later for dinner, din manage to buy anything =(

13. Lunch at wistma food republic and tea-time at cineleisure HK cafe, 45 mins of mango ice.

14. K box + buffet with sylvia and her brother, sigh! never go Kbox again. Then go starbuck with them and her brother's friends.

15. Physiology Common Test 2, me and peizi were cheating during the paper but din get caught, we got the skill HAHA!

16. Microbiology practical written test on chinese new year eve =(

17. 1M06 mini new year celebration, Lao Yu Sheng! [Lo Hei?] We made a mess at the blk 51 bench area, opps!

18. Dine-in at Pastamania with peizi, tricia, queenie, shili and her jordan HAHA! Then went home with andy and his friend.

19. Reunion Dinner at my grandpa's house, not as good as last year =( but still I like it!

20. Go Bai nian! went to my grandpa's house.

So far these are all the things i managed to remember.

High Tea at Raffles Hotel!

It's at 70th storey! wooo cool right?
haha when the lift is approaching the 70th floor, your ear will feel the pressure.
As it's a high tea buffet, you can see cakes, chocolate fountain, dim sum, breads and many many more!

I'm here to blog about my birthday!
oh it's the best day in the month of december! Don't you think so? HAHA

Morning
I went with my family to have breakfast at bedok, and mum bought a blackforest cake for me =) Luckily mum bought 1/2 kg because it's too much for a family of 5!

Afternoon

I went with Queenie to bedok bus interchange to meet kai'en, and took bus 30 to vivo [supposingly we will meet cynthia and dayna on the way in the bus, but they were late; very late lol]

Meet up with jasmine, hairul, sylvia and louis at vivo then bought movie tickets for National Treasure Book of Secret [it's recommended to watch! thumb up!]

However we had an hour more before the movie, and guess what we had did during the hour?

HAHA we went to play pool [SGD$10 per hour; expensive ah]

Right after the movie, everyone rushed for the toilet! haha then me, sylvia, kai'en and queenie went back to the arcade to play shooting game; THE LOST WORLD, woo i had not played this game since sec 2.
AND finally meet up with cynthia and dayna at the Earle Swensen there for dinner =) [I would be treating everyone for their dinner haha] and one staff gave me a thrash bag containing a box [it's one of my presents =)] Want to see some of the main dishes we had ordered?

This is the best dish! because.... I ordered it =)

After the dinner, the others had bought one blackforest ice cream cake for me [lol blackforest again; just like sec 3 i got two mango cakes from both my family and friends]

Night

They requested me to open one of my presents. It's a lovely box with a birthday card which has the most beautiful birthday greetings in it! =D

COOL right? haha a HOT guy for me!

What a lovely box! But peeped inside, it's something that wrapped with layers of newspaper!
and took my time to tear off the newspaper.

LOOK! They even prepared one thrash bag for me but it's not meant for the newpapers but for the presents! I was expected to carry one thrash bag of presents around the mall.

Once we finished settling the bill, we went to the outside of the mall. Sitting together and chatted for awhile. THEN cynthia requested me to do a DARE for my birthday so I need to carry the thrash bag, walked around and shout loudly to them WISH ME HAPPY BIRTHDAY! That was really LAUGH OUT LOUD. But they did a dare for me too =) they stood up and sang birthday song for me and cynthia shout to the people around us to sing along with us!

Later then, we went to take photo with the christmas tree! hehe

Finally at the stroke of twelve, my birthday had came to the end =) and full stop!
